Cuero residents enjoy the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country while also enjoying the tall trees and green pastures of the Gulf Coast. Being located on the edge of both gives Cuero many advantages. The weather is mild and the scenery is breathtaking.
Cuero has three city parks. They are Alexander, Daule, and the City Municipal Park.
Alexander Park has new playground equipment, benches, a half basketball court and a baseball backstop.
Daule Park consists of a full-court lighted basketball area, picnic tables, swings, a slide and two climbing units, baseball backstop and community club house.
The Municipal Park is the largest park in Cuero. The 180-acre park includes a nine-hole golf course with grass greens, an amphitheater for outdoor plays and other performances, a community club house, swimming pool, community vegetable garden, sports fields, 6.8-acre picturesque lake with picnic units and a fishing pier, rodeo arena, and a large indoor/outdoor facility for stock shows. Our newly constructed baseball area, with 4 fields, is centered on a concession complex. The park also has a wildflower area with gazebo, walking trail, multiple-use park pavilion, and children’s playground.
