82nd Annual Zilker Park Kite Festival

On the first Sunday in March, hundreds of kites will dance in the sky at the Zilker Park Kite Festival. It's fun, family-friendly and free. Everyone is welcome, whether they fly a kite or just go to enjoy the spectacle. Exhibits and kite flying demonstrations will be held all day. Delicious food of all kinds will be prepared fresh at the event and there will be moonwalks, rock climbing and games for the kids. Vendor sales benefit non-profit organizations working to break the cycle of child abuse. Rain date is one week later.
